We can help you with your training journey!

Welcome

Instructor Mary A is the owner of Black Pow-der LLC. In alignment with the common descriptor of black powder, she founded Black Pow-der LLC with a goal of being a unique, hard-to-find, training, that surpasses state minimum qualifications. Black Pow-der LLC was founded with two goals in mind: ensure clients have a safety mindset, and ensure clients understand the legal implications of protecting themselves.

About Us

Black Pow-der LLC is committed to providing professional training that promotes safety and encourages training amongst women, children, and places of worship.

I was raised in the Carolina country. It wasn't until I became an adult that I gained a true appreciation. I am an IT Specialist by day, where I solve issues. I am a teacher at heart and was a math tutor in college. I am a stage IIIB breast cancer survivor, and through that journey I became an avid believer in not only making each day my best but encouraging others to do the same. Becoming an instructor combined my loves and desires. It is my hope that others can identify as day-to-day individuals who want to enjoy life, and who want to ensure the safety of themselves and those whom they love while doing so.
